C. has a LOA and two nominations for Navy. She has the same for WP but Navy is her first choice. Unforunately, because of her eye sight she is DQ'd for both. WP has requested additional testing thru DOdmerb. My question is how do we know if Navy is going to persue a waiver or will not accept her?? Do they send a letter stating they will not waive? Should we call? The LOA letter came mid dec and the Nominations at the end of Dec. We don't know the next step.

Thanks

The waiver authorities usually take between 4 to 8 weeks to make a determination or request additional information. Sometimes it can be sooner and others later. Best thing to do for USNA would be to contact the admissions officer and find out when her name was forwarded to the waiver authorities for USNA.
