From Plan B back to the AFA

Yes, it is true they wait for your grades as a college student. However, it does appear that they do get their response very quickly from the boards.

This is just my guesstimate, but it maybe that many are on scholarship, thus they actually impact AFROTC fiscally. Afterall, that money would not be used come next fall.

My other guess would be that for ROTC dets., fall positions are given out @ this time in the spring. The det will be impacted if they have to wait until May to determine job positions because by that time school is in the midst of finals. Realize the commander is going to want to also give jobs to the cadets so they will be competitive for SFT(occurs soph year). They need to get them into positions for the fall since that will be on their packet when they compete for it.
