Hello all,
I'm looking for a timeline for the FY14 Accessions/OML (Deadlines for things to be submitted step by step). I haven't been able to find it online, does anyone have any idea where I can find this information?

Yes, your Cadre when school starts.

Actually, I was talking with my MSIII instructor - and he told me that wont be released for at least another couple months.

+1 Jcleppe.

cadetjohnson,

Jcleppe is an amazing resource here. Their DS commissioned in 2012 with mine (AFROTC), he stays here IMPHO for the same reason as me...Pay back to those that helped us along the way.

Jcleppe,

I want to say many posters/lurkers are thankful. You gave them direction/insight on a simple question.

Posters/lurkers,
The fact is IMPHO, Jcleppe is right. The unit is the one that will know the answer. If I am correct the OP is FY15, not 14. A lot can change in a yr because currently the DoD budget is in flux. What the 14 yr group goes through is not necessarily what 15 will endure.

If you read military times, Army has tens of thousands of personnel to cut to meet their numbers in the next few yrs.

Just something to think about.

The kind of answer that actually has the dates that have been released maybe??? I know he cadre has the dates back at school but if I'm curious now for my own reasons and they can't be contacted what good does waiting for school to come back in do me? Thanks again guy.

Why would you expect anyone who is not cadre to have access to this information? I don't understand that.

OBTW - Pima is correct, things will definitely change. Just take a look back and compare FY11 to FY12. I'm thinking there will be quite a few changes comparing FY13 to FY14 - CC's changing the branching process (Major changes ahead for ROTC order of merit branching process)

I figured someone here may have stumbled across the information so what would it hurt to ask? Ill just wait the three weeks and speak to my PMS when i return. I'm FY14 and I'm aware of some of the changes that have taken place thus far...

Well..Guy,

I'm curious, what makes you the special one that needs to have all the information before everyone else. LDAC is not even complete yet. The accessions process is different this year, there is nothing online that will help you. There is a reason the Cadre handle this process, there are no forms you can fill out ahead of time.

So, your not going to find an answer that actually has the dates, if you do find something it will be from previous years and will be outdated. You can be curious all you want, when you ask a question and it's answered, a simple thank you is all that's needed, the attitude can be left behind.

So can the sarcasm from your end GUY. Nothing makes me special. The information has already been put out and I was just trying to relocate it. No need to continue the discussion, the dates were provided to me by another cadet.

Thanks!

Thanks. Didn't mean to be rude to you but your first response came off as a bit sarcastic. Also I figured some cadre may post in these forums so that was another reason I posted the question.

Not sure how that was sarcastic.

You asked a simple question, it was a simple answer.

Well hopefully your cadre aren't on here because they may be a bit surprised at the lack of respect you have shown on here.

So now that you have the info, why not share what you've learned?

cadet,

Jcleppe is one of your greatest resources on the ROTC forums.

Intonation is hard to determine on an internet forum, but one thing I will say is respect is earned. Jcleppe has over 3K posts. You have less than 2 dozen.

Believe it or not during the next few yrs you will look to him for guidance

Jcleppe was in your shoes in 10 as a parent. He has lived the roller coaster ride for 4 yrs in ROTC, and now his DS is winging as a pilot.

I think posters are jumping on you because this is the 2nd thread where you have been seen/read as defensive. Transfer cgpa thread is the 1st.

It takes a lot to swallow pride, but if his responses riled you to the level I am reading, life as as an AROTC cadet might not be pretty.

As Jcleppe said you will be to the deadlines when school starts. Start anticipating mid/late Sept to early Oct.

I am not really sure why the deadlines even matter though, you will be handheld through the process just like LDAC.

I was cadre and I can assure you I never saw a timeline at school or while working LDAC so chill and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Well..Guy,

LDAC is not even complete yet. The accessions process is different this year, there is nothing online that will help you.

My daughter said that the accessions changes were explained at LDAC and the basic advice she had for her MS-II brother was get to CULP, get to Jump School/Air Assault because they were apparently worth 5 OML points. They were told even 1/2 point could separate you from several hundred cadets.

Oh wow, this will be interesting to take a peak once it is released. Did your DD mention if the extracurricular will be worth less now, to compensate for this addition?
