FY19 Army ROTC OML Model

Boy, interesting what a difference another year will make.
The OML Model looks a lot more like when my two sons went through ROTC, almost a full circle except the Academics are spread out a bit.
Biggest changes I noticed are that they have:
Increased the worth of the GPA
No more Standardized testing
The return of Recondo
Scoring the APFT at Advanced Camp
I hope they improve the system of administering the APFT at Camp, I remember that was one of the biggest complaints cadets had when they returned from LDAC. Helped a lot when they started having the NCOs give the test rather then the new LTs at camp, that was a mess.

And that was a long list of legitimate complaints.
That entire summer of LDAC 2014 was an abomination of planning and execution which culminated in the OIC receiving a high profile promotion.
All AROTC cadets since should be thankful they weren't part of it.
