If there is we handle it. If there isn't, great. It's one of those things that MIGHT come later. Don't put worry into especially when we're this close. Focus on I-day.Will there be a gas chamber at bct? I’m hearing very conflicting accounts.
THIS is so applicable to life in the military!Everyone lives. It's funny in the rear view.
I was chemical in my enlisted life. We got gassed so much in training that I became immune. Nothing like getting a CS grenade tossed about 5' from you in the field and just looking at it and thinking, I have a 3-second rush coming up...is it worth pulling out my protective mask?An enjoyable day that I am sure you will remember for the rest of your career and tell stories about to your friends. Maybe you will be the one in 1,000 who is not affected by CS Gas (there were three in my group at my training during the Jurassic but sadly it was not me) but if not you will have the cleanest sinuses you have ever hadFlyFalcon is 100% correct, focus on what is not what might be and deal with whatever comes up if and when it does. You got this.
Last year there was something about not covering that event for some reason. Will Webguy be there?! Oh, I can't wait to see these pics!
Likewise. Had visions of The “Q”, otherwise known as San Quentin state prison in California.I’m glad this topic is not as alarming as the title suggests.
Happy to say I missed out on that “fun”. I only had to don a CBRN mask during general quarters. I know enough to stay away from public gatherings where law enforcement may have to use CS gas. I can imagine that it isn’t very pleasant. I’d rather have onions, or a sentimental event, make my eyes water.SO much fun!!!
We, c/o 2025, did not get gassed during Basic. That's why there no pictures of the gas chamber during last year's basicLast year there was something about not covering that event for some reason.
