Can anyone share about Georgia Military College and the 2 yr Early Commissioning Progeam? I also heard there is a school called New Mexico Militray Institute that does the same thing. If anyone attends either of these schools please share.

One of my son's friends goes to GMC. (this is the 2 yr college - not the 4 year - North Georgia College - AKA Military College of Georgia, that is up near Ft. Benning).

We actually have friends of my son's in both schools.

If you have any specific qts, I can ask the students and see how they respond.

Just like Raidermom2012's son I have multiple best friends from my high school who went to the Georgia Military College for the two year ecp (early commission program) one is in his first year and the other graduates from the program this year and will be commissioned as an officer in the US Army. Just understand that once you decide to accept the commission your second year at GMC you are obligated to go to another college somewhere and complete your last two years afterwards or else your commission can be taken back. Once you finish up your bachelor's degree your status is switched from reserve to active and you will be sent to a mos school and unit. Like I said they are my best friends and if you have any questions just ask me and I will ask them and relay the information to you because they would be more then willing to help. The one thing I will say they have told me is that it is very boring in the part of Georgia that GMC is located in and that there is really nothing to do especially on levave and just like an academy or other military college you have a plebe period you must complete where you have extra restrictions and things but the bright side is it only lasts for like half a semester of your first year or something close to that.
