Getting in touch with other class of 2015 appointees

I am new to this forum, but I have wanted to attend the Naval Academy since I was 10. I was lucky enough to receive my appointment in early December; I am beginning my preparation for plebe summer 2011! I know it's early, but I was wondering if any other appointees would like to start getting in touch. I've spent the last 8 years looking for more people who understand my passion for USNA, and who better to talk to than future classmates!
 
I don't have a facebook( yes, I know. Jaw dropping isn't it? :eek:) But I sent you a PM NavyCrew 2015.

Less than 5 months and I-Day will be here. Seems like yesterday that I was wrestling with old school records and paperwork for the application.
 
I feel like I'm in a similar boat NavyCrew-I've wanted to go to USNA since I was 12-so message me and I can add you on fb too.
 
Maybe we should create a Facebook group if there isn't already one!

Facebook group is a bad idea. Even worse is everyone in that group deciding to wear a certain color shirt to I-Day. Cadre have facebooks and look for these types of groups.
 
That really happens? hahaha, that's pretty funny! I'm glad I kept my Facebook on the down-low then.

Haha I believe so! I have heard stories of NASS attendeess, Plebe, and New Cadets who did not lay low and it did not end well for them. It's better for the Cadre to not be expecting you!
 
message me! I gotta facebook! i would love to know some people around the country before I got there. It might make the initial shock more bearable. haha

NavyCrew2015, I'm new to the forum too. I got my appointment around XMAS and am going to row for USNA too. I know a few other people applying, but I havn't had the option of talking to anyone else that has got accepted...
 
About the facebook group: Yikes, maybe not then haha. And it's not like we're not all going to know each other pretty well after plebe summer!
