Getting tingly just thinking about.. Navy Football!!

Felt like a game of a few years ago. Fullbacks getting in the mix. Our running game was solid. Timing and reads seemed much more on point. Now the defense is a relatively new thing since Newberry has come in. A good W.
Sure did. That was great. Also fun to listen to announcers say the same!

Play calling, O-line stepped up, good blocks, special teams, old school fullback action, solid D, turnovers and a first collegiate play TD by a plebe made that one helluva game.
I’m excited. They turned around faster than I thought possible.
Also the post game press conference was great. Humble and articulate young men.

It was an amazing day at USNA yesterday! The dress uniforms do look sharp and there is some pageantry to the pre-game. Prior to kickoff the brigade marches on. They do an about face and welcome the visiting team with a tip of the hat. They then turn back to the home crowd and offer a cheer with the fans joining in. This is followed by the national anthem and a fly over; this time two F-18 Super Hornets from the squadron at Virgina Beach. It's really something to see. Today it was a great display of sportsmanship that the Mids didn't throw the ball the entire fourth quarter; after Tulsa's spirit had been broken and the game was won. Very classy.

No, 28th. But he and a few of his classmates did get a pic with the SecNav! Since it is more mids than just my kid, I didn't put it up.
