Hey all,

This year our school got a new teacher for physics and he's a retired Nuke of ~20 years. I really enjoyed his class and appreciated him as a person and because I am graduating I want to get an end of the year gift for him. Would something like this be appropriate? I'd make sure to include his rank and last name.

I tend to keep my gifts a little more on the goofy side, but if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

I had a student gift me with a teddy bear last year. I rarely get gifts so I keep the ones I do have on display as a hint for my students to give me more.

The right foot on yours looks kind of like a senior chief’s rate insignia so I’d like it but have no idea if it’s appropriate for your physics teacher.
