I was curious if anyone knew of a good golf course in either Denver or Colorado Springs.
the academy's is supposedly the best course in all the entire DoD. never played myself, but once you start freshman year you can go play as much as you want for extremely cheap
Thanks I've played them both before and they are amazing. I'm looking to go the Saturday before I go to orientation however I can't get on base. If anyone knows of any others that would be useful. Thank you again though.
Red Hawk Ridge, in Castle Rock, about 30 minutes north of the Academy just recevied some great ratings from golf magazines
I don't know much about golfing, but I do know that it will be hard to find something green this time of year. Even the academy course was quite brown when I passed the other day.
Thank you for the course name. I'll look into it. And as for green I don't care much the color I just want to play.
Golf Course in Colorado Springs
Try the Broadmoor Resort right in Colorado Springs, it is a PGA Championship level course, you will enjoy it.
Thank you. I'm going to be calling courses around there today to see if anyone's got tee times.
If you can get there, try some of the courses in Castle Rock, CO. Here is a link to the Ridge. It is not that far from Colorado Springs.
Thanks for all the help. I actually decided to call the Eisenhower course on USAFA's campus and they were nice enough to set me up with a tee time even though I'm not a cadet yet.
