Math: 35
Science: 35
Reading: 31
English: 26

My intended major is Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering.

Awesome math and science scores. You’ve got plenty of time so I would say work on the English and Reading take it again. No one can say for sure what’s good enough so to be safe you should keep at it until it’s as high as you can get it. Your in great shape but your not there yet.

It probably depends on the rest of your stats. My son did not do particularly well on his ACTs but he has a very high GPA with challenging courses, as well as athletics, leadership and service. He was awarded the 4 yr scholarship with a lower ACT than yours.

Just remember it isn’t all about scores on tests! You can definitely shine in other areas! My daughter’s ACT is 33 and she is a 4.0 with a lot of AP science and math classes and she hasn’t received a scholarship yet. It’s about way more than just grades/test scores.

You are a 1000% correct!! One of my DSs had the big test score (34 / 35) 4.0, tons APs, varsity sports, 3Q, Boys State, jobs, extra Cs and multiple Noms, and didn't get any appointments, but received 4-year ROTC scholarships across the board, you just don't know how, where or which direction the pendulum will swing.

The question isn't whether your scores are good enough to be considered for the scholarship, if they meet the minimum requirements, which are listed on the website, they are good enough to be considered. The question is, are these the best scores you are capable of achieving. You want to submit the strongest application you can. If you feel you can improve those Reading and English scores with better prep focused in those areas, by all means, do so. You still have lots of time to prep and re-test. If you studied diligently and focused on those areas already and believe this is the best score you can achieve, go ahead and submit it. I believe your Math and Science scores will be weighted more heavily, but everything is important. This advice goes for all parts of your application; don't ask if it is good enough to be considered, ask if it's the best you are capable of. After all, you don't want to be considered for the scholarship; you want to be awarded a scholarship.

Didn't want to make another thread for this question. Does AFROTC take your most recent SAT/ACT score or the first SAT/ACT score you had as they don't superscore?
