My BGO has invited me to his office to speak with him about USNA admissions. Even though it is simply an informal, meet and learn session, do you guys think it is a good idea to bring a a general resume?

Als could a BGO that does not represent your school represent you for the official interview?
Currently, I do not have one a BGO, but this BGO representing another school district has been nice enough to help me.

Don't know if that BGO can "request" you. I'm not aware of that being done, but trust some of the solid BGOs on this site will let you know.

Speculating in light of previous experiences ...USNA assigns you to a BGO absent or your input. It's a fair question to ask this BGO when you meet with him to discuss USNA opportunities.

There may be a number of reasons why a BGO is reassigned - a BGO being unable to fulfill his duties, an overload of candidates on a BGO's roster, trying to finish up interviews asap, etc. This can be done by the AC on an ad hoc basis. I recommend you meet with the BGO and take a resume with you. Best wishes.
