Good luck ‘26!

I-Day photos posted. Wow, they look so young and full of hope. :)

You know, when I look at them, I think to myself (at the same time) "They look so young," and "It wasn't so long ago that I did that."

Then I remind myself that it was . . . 41 years ago. 😲 Some of current plebe's PARENTS weren't even alive then. :coo2l:

The crazy thing is that, if you pulled out the pictures from my PS, it would more or less look the same -- other than there were almost no women and all of the women had short hair.

Thank you for sharing! I need to finish this darn PhD and get up there. Just seeing this brought a lot of joy.

I happened to be in the Walgrreen’s picking up an Rx a few hours ago, saw several people with a slightly dazed look in their eye and right-off-the-rack-tags-barely-off Navy dad/mom shorts and the totes with the class name - in the Secret Package Store in the Back section.

Was looking at the photos and had flashbacks to my I Day. I mean it really hasn’t changed much. Same laundry bags (still have mine), same white works, same process and set up. More female Mids than when I was there and they can keep their long hair (which I think would of been easier than growing it out after the short cut). Good luck to all. Enjoy the ride. It’s a fun one!

I could hear live streaming on my phone. But not on the TV. So I had it big on the TV for the visual, and listened on my phone for audio.

Chills. Always!!

I could hear it, but it was very soft - but it was great to watch - it looked pretty hot!!! so happy for the class of 26!!

I'm still waiting for the parent videos of the doors closing, haven't seen those yet. The ceremony gave me chills, this stuff doesn't get old.

During the swearing-in. wonder if the 300 detailers yelled “I do!” louder than the 1200 plebes, as in years past. I believe that’s a real jolt for the dazed plebes after a long, hot day of being indoctrinated. It’s like, “Ruh-roh.”
