2020....YOU'VE GOT VISION!!! Hahaha...I'm wondering what the 2020 motto will be.

Don't give up.
One minute at a time. Remember what you HAVE done and that you have and can over come set backs
Find the fun; it's there.
Listen and DO.
Don't give up.

It's up to you....Mastery or mediocrity? Excellence or insignificance? It's all up to you. Choose your destiny

Thank you both for posting these...we just arrived in Colorado Springs earlier this evening, and I read this thread to my daughter. Definitely helped fire her up to face Thursday and beyond!

You've got vision is terrible grammar.

True but the meaning has come across I believe. Besides, the motto could be "WE have vision." Doubtful but I was trying to play on the 20/20 hehehe.

Still very excited for the incoming class. Can't wait to see the photos from webguy and hear from my 4 basics (volunteer letter writing) about their new experiences.

One hour, one day, one week at a time. Best of luck to the class of 2020!

They told us during I-Day the class of 2020 has 1159 with 30% women in the class

OK, maybe not in the tone of "good luck", but this does somewhat follow the thread with the discussion of class size... and, I almost hate to ask this question, but has anyone seen the "official" numbers for class of 2020 after BCT that actually began the academic year?

Towards the end of BCT, DD mentioned that her class was told that 10 appointees did not even get off the bus on I-Day, and over 100 quit during BCT, which seems like a rather high percentage compared to previous and recent years.

I have Google'd this and cannot find anything for class of 2020. Previous years' reports were typically posted in August.

This is quite surprisingly large number. What was USAFA 2020 appointees class ? Wonder how USNA and USMA fare.

tex2021, 1168 appointees showed up on I-Day for USAFA 2020 class.

tug_boat, totally agree. It is just disheartening to believe after all the work to get to any SA, folks would quit. It also takes away slots from others who may have stayed the coarse.
