S has left the Navy and is now a civilian with an extremely high-tech civilian job. 5 year USNA reunion this weekend. What a ride it has been. No further need to stay tuned into USNA issues. This board has provided a wealth of information regarding USNA and the USN. Thanks to all contributors.

My last bit of advice to your veteran son is to be sure and research the state veteran benefits site for both home state and where he is establishing residency. Each state has its own veterans’ agency or department, with its own package of benefits and eligibility requirements. This is in addition to any federal DVA benefits for which he will be eligible.
