Got the Nomination, now what?

No need to do anything. The page will change on its own within time. Realize that this is the time the bulk of noms come in so it can take a few days to update. The MOC submits their slate directly to the SAs.
The only thing that affects you is if the letter said "PRINCIPAL", in that case, buy bubble wrap and say USNA here we come! The reason why, is because if they are triple Q, you just received the golden ticket. Otherwise, the only thing you can do is play the waiting game like everybody else.

I might call the BGO based on the kind of relationship you had with him. My son's BGO was very helpful and supportive, so when he got his LOA, he was the first person he called. (No nom yet). If you had a similar relationship, it might be a good time to call, share the excitement, and thank them for their help in the process.

My moc doesnt release his nominations untill around christmas. This waiting is rough.just some clarification...if you are your MOC principal candidate, are you pretty much going to receive an appointment to the SA? If you are not the principal then you are placed on the NWL? And does the MOC tell you whether you are the principal nominee?
If you are the PRINCIPAL (PRINCIPLE? I'm tired!) nominee, the SA must offer you an appt if you are found to be qualified. If you are one of ten on an unranked slate of nominees (most common scenario), SA will offer appt to one and "charge" that to MOC's allotment of 5 per SA. The other 9 go into national pool and compete for an appointment there. Don't be discouraged however, many times 2,3,4 or even more off of one slate wind up with appointments. It is not over if you aren't the one charged to MOC. And you will not ever know who was "charged" to what nominating source. Your MOC will be notified for each on his slate who gets appt and have the opportunity to notify the candidates before official appt arrives at home.
