Grade Effect

I was looking at my final report card for my freshman year and realized something. My school counts a 90% as an A. All my grades are 90% or above, but some schools count a 92% as an A. My gpa is 94.46 and I'm taking all the highest level classes. Have I already killed my chances with 5 90/91%, for marking periods not the whole class. For whole classes I my lowest grade was a 93%. I let my grades slip some this year with the transition to high school, and an art school, I think I can get them all up to 95% or above next year. Any insight would be appreciated.

You are fine. Keep working hard and taking the hardest classes available, volunteer, play some sports and go have some fun too!

Haha... you need to relax. Keep working hard and playing hard. Enjoy high school. They're not lying when they tell you it is the best time of your life.

You're gonna get an ulcer if you worry too much, and that could DQ you medically. (In jest)

Part of what you submit to WP is a form from your counselor. It explains your school's grading, the rigor, etc. You need to relax here...you have an A average.
