Thanks, but do you know the percentages? And what would be the cutoff for a core class, like Calculus?

Happen to have a KP kid standing at my shoulder:
100 to 90 is an A
89-80 B
79-70 C
69-60-D
Its up to the Prof. on the minuses and pluses
Don't understand what you mean by cut off. Some courses have a 70 to pass because they are professional courses for STCW requirements. An STCW is what everyone has to have to sail.
Just remember..... "D is Done"
