It will be SCARY, EXCITING, FUN, MISERABLE, etc...etc...

And you're going to LOVE it especially when you watch your cadet/midshipmen toss their hat in the air at graduation. TRY, I just dare you, TRY to keep a dry eye then!! :rofl:

Welcome to the forums! PLEASE join us, relate your "trials and tribulations" and share with all...this is a great support network as well!!! And we gain from your experiences and in turn we pass them to the "next" group of newbies! Because you're quickly becoming "old hands" at this! :biggrin:

Welcome. We are right across the border of Iowa in South Dakota. My son is at USNA, but his two classmates from highschool went to West Point and love it there. I hope you have a great experience. Where in Iowa are you from? My husband and I live in SD but work in Iowa.
