Growth Hormone Waiver

Hello All,

My son received a DQ letter today stating his previous growth hormone injections did not meet DOD standards. He has been off the medication for over a year and stand at 5'9". Would anyone know if this is an automatic DQ or would a waiver be possible?

Looks like the reason for the GH injections will be the deciding factor, and possibly a good thing he's been off the meds for over a year. Be patient and go through the process. If it's waiverable and your DS is a competitive candidate, the SA(s) will request the waiver.
