Guess this place ! (Post your photos)

Three-part clue. One pic is of a ceiling. Rule out Sistine.

Another island, since we are on a roll with those.

It is visible from Highway 58, on your right as you head eastbound, about 2 miles past the Keene exit. Alternatively, there is an overlook on Woodford-Tehachapi Road with a better view from above. Exit Keene and then proceed for about 3 miles.

The Orkeny Islands?
Yes! The Orkney Islands, and the building?
While we wait, I have fond memories of our tour guide, who made jokes about the endless wind, and how the Orkney hairstyle was simply “wind blown.”

Beautiful place, deliciously fresh sea air, gorgeous quality of light, looooong days in summer - but I suspect looooong nights in winter and bitter wet cold.

That roof was built by woodworkers who normally built Viking ships.

Let's go the opposite direction from islands. We'll go with general area on this one. Bonus bacon if you can tell me specifically what lake it is.4cfed107-b19f.jpg

I would rather not Say the name of that tower. 🔁

;)

You could use the nickname and location instead, or who designed and funded it and Say Their names...

It was a poor attempt at a joke.

Sather Tower it is - on the UC Berkely campus - also known as "The Campanile".
Designed by John Galen Howard, founder of the Department of Architecture. (I had to look that part up).
It is a pretty neat project: https://campanile.berkeley.edu/category/timeline/
