I'm almost finished with my ROTC scholarship application, my GPA and SAT scores need to be verified and my interview needs to be done. However, it says guidance counselor feedback isn't started yet. What exactly is that? Do I need to tell my counselor about it?

I am in a "fight" about this right now. We homeschool so there is no guidance counselor. My son is likely going to miss the first board because *someone* can't figure out what to do with us... as if we are the first homeschooler to ever apply for a scholarship...

Absolutely speak to guidance counselor. Sometimes the e-mails requesting the info get filtered out by the schools spam programs, may be over in Junk. Counselor may have never received it.
It is something they don't see everyday, so sometimes it gets set to the side to deal with later and then it gets forgotten.
If they still do not get to it, you may have to get a vice-principal involved. Be tactful .....More flies with honey and all that.
