This road has been long and feels short all at the same time, this MS4 year is going much faster than this mama was prepared for. My DD received her branch assignment this morning, she received her first choice and will be an Army Infantry Officer! Congrats to everyone receiving their news today đź‘Ť
 
@Dckc88 , congratulations to your DD and all the other MS4 DD's and DS's. I hope you all got one of your top choices.

This starts a whole new stage in their lives; much like, but much more consequential than being a HS senior having received the coveted fat envelope one's first choice college. As soon as the feeling of accomplishment begins to wear off, she can begin thinking about her first duty station and IBOLC date.

My DS would recommend studying the paths of current O-3's and learn from their experiences in trying to carve out her own path.
