Got it, I could've sworn that there was an email/notice saying you couldn't add anymore info to the file a week before your file is reviewed but can't find it anywhere now. The wait is making me see things 😅

You'll never know exactly when your application is being reviewed, so never be afraid to communicate with your AO of anything that may come up. Test scores, awards, leadership positions, etc.

I think most applicants get a notice that your file is going under review (the time given in the notification doesn't seem to be all that accurate). You can update you file at any time (and you should if you have anything good to add such as being named team captain). I'm not sure what the academy's rationale is for the notification.

I think everyone gets the same email that says "application will be reviewed in 2 weeks". It's total rubbish! 😂
 
My son went to aim and we went to an admissions brief in our local state the admissions counselor told us that we would hear something before the end of the year. It may not be yes, or no it may be one of the options mentioned above.

I haven’t heard anything yet! I attended AIM week 3 and my platoon has been in contact and neither of us have heard anything yet. It definitely makes me feel a little bit relieved that I’m not the only one waiting but I also agree that the waiting is brutal.

I remember waiting for my DD to get c/o 2027 appointment - it was brutal! Although historically (at least c/o 27 & 28) appointments have started rolling in Thanksgiving week; you need to remember that this a very limited picture of overall appointments. Generally less than 1/3 actually post their appointments in this forum. Chances are that appointments have gone out as we are now in week 1 of December, they just aren't posting here. Hopefully, you will hear soon, but at the very worst case scenario 12/23/24 is not that far off - which is date all EA will get some sort of response by.
