Has anyone's AROTC status been changed to Winner?

Great plan - this is a marathon not a sprint.
 
I am not a winner this round....this is what my updated status says...Applicants in this Status were Boarded on our first Selection Board and were not selected to receive an offer from that Board. This applicant remains eligible to receive an offer from our JAN 21 or MAR 21 Selection Board
 
4-year to my top three choices--beyond excited! I flipped several times between Boarded B/UC, but settled on Boarded for the past four or five days. Schools of intent have been locked for a couple days, so for future boards: both of those seem to be very good signs about your status!
 
Congratulations to all of the winners! Now to the leap of faith part. Obviously we all have to accept and select the school before we have admissions acceptances. How difficult/easy is it to transfer the scholarship from number 1 to number 2 ? Or would it be better to just accept #3 since it is safer ? Any input is very appreciated!
 
My DS received a 4-year to his top 3 schools! His status changed to "Boarded" on Tuesday 10/27, and his schools of intent page was "Read-only" as well. He didn't see any other information/instructions on the portal. Will he receive something specific on email?

Hi - I am sure your son is getting emails from his top schools. One that my daughter received said a packet with instructions will be arriving in the mail. I do not know when though ! Congrats. This is so exciting!
 
Does anyone know if all the results are out? I heard from a PMS that results would be out tomorrow. Are all the winners notified at once or does it happen gradually?

There’s a Winner Letter on the last page where docs are uploaded. It will show up there. Print and sign and reupload. (If memory serves me)
 
Yes. He is thrilled! But now I think he is nervous about picking one school out of the three. Two are Senior Military Colleges and the third has a strong ROTC program and STEM majors. Due to COVID, he has only been able to visit one of the schools. So we'll see!
 
I logged onto my AROTC Portal this evening, and was pleasantly surprised to find that my status had been changed from "Boarded" to "Winner." I am so joyful and grateful; this is such a relief and a weight off of my chest. Congrats to all the other winners! For those of you that will join the other two boards, good luck! I hope to see all of y'all jumping out of an airplane or puking on a forced march someday! :)

Reach out to the units at the schools you’re applying to. Some have pretty significant sway with admissions so it’s worth a shot

Is it possible to be 'boarded-under consideration' and it change..."Applicants in this Status were Boarded on our first Selection Board and were not selected to receive an offer from that Board. This applicant remains eligible to receive an offer from our JAN 21 or MAR 21 Selection Board"....are the awards 'official'. My daughter had top ACT/SAT scores, GPA, participation in school....

If I understand your question, yes, it’s possible .....hopefully after the 2nd board meets in January. 1st board has finished, and if her status didn’t change to winner, she didn’t win. Fingers crossed for your DD the 2nd board!
