I'm an active duty soldier stationed in Upper Left, USA. I hail from Columbus,OH. I'm 23 turning 24 in March and I'm applying for USMMA's class of 2022. I started my packet in late November and will almost have it complete this month. Just got my nomination and I'm just waiting to retake my ACTs, finish my DoDMERB physicals, and get my letters of recommendation from my sources. When everything is all done and I hopefully get accepted I will report about my process so other people in my situation can have an idea of what it takes from an AD component standpoint.

My hobbies are longboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding, reading, chess, videogames, aviation, helping out at my church, and writing. Thanks all for having me here.

Jbmz I am rooting for you man. I will be attending USMMA class of 2022 and it would be a great opportunity to learn from someone like you already serving. I look forward towards hearing updates from you. Good luck and congratulations on your MOC!

I appreciate it cruizin. I'm rooting for myself too. Everything that has played out in this process has made me confident that I'll get in as long as I stay focused and keep my ducks in a row. My ACTs are a week from now and I have been studying every night since Christmas. I haven't been in the military for long. E3 no deployments under my belt but I won a few Soldier of the Month Boards and have the whole NCO creed memorized. I never imagined being in the army but I just love the structure it gives me. The army to me is like Boy Scouts 3.0. If I can do well here I feel I can do well at a SA.
