Hello, my name is James and I am a USMA candidate. I look forward to meeting people on this forum! Thank you to everyone who answers the many questions that are out there.

As of now, I have a nomination from NC-09 (Sue Myrick) and am waiting to hear back from the Academy to see if I receive an appointment. I have sent in my 7th semester transcripts and have contacted DODMERB to settle a minor issue (simple shoulder dislocation that needs a medical remedial). Other than that, is there anything else I should do/be doing? I also look forward to playing football for Army (Sprint team)! Hopefully it will work out!!!

Welcome to the forums!

As far as what you need to be doing admissions-wise - just make sure your file is complete (essay, CFA, SOEs, CAR etc).

My son played Sprint football at West Point, so if you have any questions about that, I'll try to answer them for you.

My file is completed and I am waiting to hear back from WP. I also spoke to the Sprint Team coach and we had a good conversation. Hopefully it all works out!
