Hello! How badly would it affect my application to USAFA if I did not schedule an interview with my ALO officer in time before my deadline ends?

I am currently applying to USAFA and my deadline is coming in a few days. I have already txted, emailed, and called my ALO officer to schedule an interview a couple days before. When I called him, he was in an interview and he said he would call me back. He hasnt called me back or responded to me. What should I do!!

The deadline you have been given is for your to provide all of the necessary documents the application requires. If you have contacted your ALO and you are working with them to get your interview scheduled - I think you will be okay. If you want to ensure that this is correct - I would go into your portal and reach out to the counselor you have been assigned to and just get confirmation... let them know that you are in the process of organizing the interview... see what they have to say. Good luck!

You will be just fine. ALOs have other full time jobs and they may just be busy. If they did not have the time to schedule you before your deadline, that will not be held against you. As AFBoyMom said, contact your counselor or admissions advisor and they will make sure you are getting scheduled!

To add - there sounds like a bit of panic in your post. Take a deep breath. Sage advise to reach out to your counselor. Be respectful of your ALO officer and recognize they have lives too. I would gently say to the counselor, I would like to share with you the staus of my interview. I reached out and I am awaiting return correspondence from my ALO. I am confident in the coming weeks I will have my interview. That's it.

Relax I had mine after the deadline. Actually so do most people, you'll be fine.

Okay...first...check your portal...it's going to say something like "if you don't have the following done by the deadline, you will be close/dropped/disappeared..." and then it'll say "this does not apply to your ALO Evaluation, DODMERB, etc."

You should be fine.
