Hello! I’m a junior in high school from Annapolis that has been interested in USAFA for around 5 years now, and am super driven to become a USAF officer! Here is a little about me.

Academics:
- 3.96 (UW) 4.43 (W) GPA and top 7.7% of class.
- After senior year I will have taken 13 AP classes, 2 classes at the community college, and several honors classes.
- 1380 SAT
- Notable STEM courses: AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Chem, AP Calc AB/BC

Athletics:
- Varsity Cross Country (4 years): Team captain for JV during junior year. I will be varsity team captain senior year.
- Varsity Track and Field (4 years): Mid-distance runner and accomplished high jumper. Set the indoor season school record, ranked high in my region as a high jumper. I anticipate being a varsity team captain for both seasons senior year.

Extracurriculars/Leadership:
- Boy Scouts: 7+ years, held positions such as Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and the Crew Leader for my troop’s Philmont Scout Ranch Trek.
- Student Government Officer: 3 years
- Class Council Officer: 3 years
- International Club Officer: 2 years, worked as the Director of Logistics for a community culture fair that annually raises thousands of dollars for refugee schools in Lebanon
- Aerospace Club: 2 years, founding member
- Lawn care business paid employee (part-time)
- Unpaid internship at a local flight center, where I earn flight hours towards a PPL

Community Service:
- Started and continue to run a free peer tutoring group to help local kids affected by virtual learning due to Covid-19.
- Earned over 210 hours as a Camp Counselor
- Service projects with my church group, Scout troop, and on my own.

Recognition:
- Eagle Scout
- MSDE Seal of Biliteracy (Spanish)
- 2022 Coaches Award (XC)
- Summa Cum Laude (County Award)
- National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Science National Honor Society
- Superintendent Honor Roll (All A’s)
- 5 hours towards PPL
- 10 Varsity Letters by the end of senior year

I also attended the USAFA Summer Seminar this year.

Super! Keep up the good work.

I hope you have started your AFA application, along with having a Plan B and Plan C. B = AFROTC scholarship, and C is if you do not win either an appointment or ROTC scholarship.
