A few years ago, our DGD said she was interested in AFROTC. Then in her sophomore year, she started thinking about the academies and attended both the USCGA and USNA virtual summer programs and loved both. As a senior, she has applied to USCGA, USNA, USAFA, NROTC and AFROTC, and has received a conditional LOA from USNA. She’s in the interviewing stage for all of them now plus starting the DoDMERB process. So proud of her and since I’m retired, I’m reading all these posts trying to understand the process.
