I just received a letter that my admission file had been closed because I was missing required information! My file was not finished but I had completed a lot of areas, and was under the impression that the official deadline was months away. Is there anything I can do to have my file
re-opened?

Did you contact Admissions and ask? Maybe start with gathering some basic information - then if you don't have answers others on this board might be able to help you. Could just be an administrative or system error so don't panic - especially if you're not on top of any deadlines. Good luck!

Thank you, I did Email the Admissions Team and tried to call but it went to Voicemail. I'm thinking that the Office is just closed on Sundays.

Try a search in the search bar. I kind of remember something like this happening last year to USMA. I believe it was an error.

I just posted the link for last years post but it’s waiting a moderators approval. Hopefully just a system error good luck.

Please let us know when you contact your RC and find out whether it was a mistake or not. It does seem likely to be an error in your case but only your RC will know.

I will say that my DS had a letter in his portal requiring a body fat composition test by 22 Nov (he was one LB UNDER the weight standards at DODMERB so a little bit funny). He did not receive any emails alerting him about it, it just appeared on his homepage near his SLE letter. Just a PSA to check those portals regularly.

Same exact thing has happened to DD.... no idea why. Talked to FFR and thought probably mistake. Emailed admissions and called admissions and have yet to hear back.

It sounds like it is an error. However, if there was a legitimate reason that your file was closed there is an actual process to get it reopened. It will take contact with your Admissions officer to make that happen.
