Hello guys!
I am currently applying to the United States Naval Academy, and I just wanted to show a rigorous academic schedule for my Senior year. In order to provide greater context, I will show the courses I have taken and their respective grades. Please give me ANY feedback! Thank you!

Freshman:
getReport.do

https://parentportalapp.lausd.net/parentaccess/report/getReport.do?reportName=graduation

Junior Spring Grades:

AP Chemistry: C
AP Calculus AB: A
AP English Language: A
AP US History: A
AP Computer Science: B
Health: A

I'm considering taking the following courses at Community College throughout my Senior year:
- Calculus II (Summer)
- Calculus III (Fall)
- Linear Algebra (Spring)
- Differential Equations (Spring)
- Economics 001 (Summer)
- Economics 002 (Fall)
- Introduction to General Chemistry (Fall)
- General Chemistry I

I'm considering taking the following courses at my high school:
- Discrete Mathematics (counted as AP)
- AP Macroeconomics/AP U.S. Government sequence
- AP English Literature
- AP Physics I or Honor Physics
- Associated Student Body
- Theater

Is it good enough? Any suggestions, comments, concerns?

Best Regards!

I think you are doing a fine job young man. That College schedule in your Senior HS year looks pretty tough. Are you sure that you want to beat yourself up like that in your last year of HS?

The HS courses you list after the college courses, have Physics and Discrete Math. You already have Chemistry and Calc completed. So, I think from that stand point, you have covered all your basics.

USNA wants to see Athletics and Leadership/Community service activities. And it doesn’t hurt to be a musician or something constructive in the extracurricular arena. Just throwing in the musicianship, because where my wife and I came from, playing instruments is a contact sport, and it was fundamental in our kids’ schedule. My father, who was a Naval officer, warmed the hearts of many of his fellow seaman, playing the Accordion and Piano for many many years.

You should work on your board scores too (SAT) and ACT if you think they need improving. You don’t want to chew on too much in your Senior year. You want to work on being well rounded, and involved in various constructive activities.

Just my 2 cents.
