I leave for Beast in less than two months, and I just received my first dose of Hep A today, a required vaccine for beast. The next dose is scheduled for 6 months from now, but West Point states all immunizations must be completed prior to arrival. Is this something that is excused given that it is a 6 month spread in between doses?
Thank you

You are good. Get the series started and you will finish it when you are there. You will send in your vaccination record/form in advance and carry it with you on R-Day. You cannot be fully vaccinated by shrinking the appropriate time between doses.
Please, you've done what you can. Don't worry about this. They will not send you home for this.

In the latest immunization emails to the Class of 2026, the nurse said not to worry about completing Hep A before you arrive. Apparently it is common not to have received it, so they just ask you to get the first dose before coming and they’ll administer the second dose there.

Thank you for the follow up message. I am sure this will be helpful to many!
