Well, we're just finishing our third week of plebe summer. My platoon is taking a computer BST test and I finished early so they're letting me surf the internet. Everyone is going well. The drop-out rate is about average but most people are really motivated and will crank through it. The O & E courses are a lot of fun, especially because its 100% teamwork. I'm excited about the rifle & pistol range on Wednesday. The food is good, actually, the cadre are complaining that King Hall is making the food better then usual. By this point, everyone has made it instinct to say "Sir/Mam, no excuse, sir/mam" and everyone has also gotten used to being yelled out constantly. I'm in hotel company and every night, they form the "Goon Squad of Hell Hotel" of about 15 people and make them PT like no other in front of everyone else. They say its to "correct" their problems. For those who are going to NAPS, lemme tell you, you have a big leg up at least through the third week of plebe summer. Some of them have small attitude problems but they all know what they're doing and the rest of us directly from HS follow them a lot of the time.
