Well, I've been teleworking for about two months and we took her out of daycare, so I've had a lot of time to spend "well." HAHA

Oh I wish, except I haven't had a lesson in two years. My banjos are out and ready to be played, and my daughter likes them, but I'm much more prepared for Paw Patrol, Bubble Guppies, and Abby Hatcher trivia.

Nice to have you back LITS! I hope you'll have some time to help breathe life into the USCGA portion of the forum! It just hit me that you and I have exchanged posts on this forum for over ten years at this point - and you might be the sole remaining member of the original CGA posters that I looked to for guidance when applying and throughout my time at CGA. Life certainly seems to have a fast forward button.

Time flies! I think I was bouncing around on a 210' cutter when I started here. Once I even got on here after a little too much to drink, which was probably not well thought out. And once.... I was banned. I wonder if those points are still on my record here.

I'm doing well. Work for another federal agency, from home right now. I got married a few years ago and had a daughter around two years ago (which is really crazy, because my tiny baby is now a toddler and I'm pretty sure soon she'll be driving).

I've got a subject that could get some conversation going on the CGA forum.... it didn't generate as much as I thought it could in the Bulletin, but people don't feel very free there.

Welcome Back LITS! If you want, some of us old hands can do it in proper fashion and 'pipe' you back aboard.. We might even be able to scare up some sideboys.. Being a 10 year member you probably rate at least 4..👍🙂 Anyway, good to see you here again..

Congratulations on your daughter, that must be a whole new adventure! I just started my third tour last July, cementing my actual specialty - no firm plans on staying in or getting out but I'm definitely keeping tabs on additional opportunities.

I haven't kept up with the Bulletin nearly as much as I should so I would love to discuss the topic here! Anonymity is certainly a little more guaranteed here so hopefully people won't feel too shy about sharing their opinions, I certainly won't!
