Hey,
I was wondering if the Academy would react negatively to getting a high B in a class like Calculus or Physics? Would that be detrimental to my chances in getting in?

Thanks guys

Simply, NO... If its an AP class or something like calc then they will understand that it is a difficult class and understand you may not be "perfect."

I have that same problem with my AP physics class. it is extremely hard, and I got a B last grading period (which isnt a bad grade compared to the overall class)

Just so everyone can relax. I too have a B in Calc and a 79.5 in Government.

Semester is not done yet, so it is theoretically possible for me to get an A in calculus if I get an A on the exam... but that's not going to happen. So I'll have a B in calc and a B in Physics (C). No worries.

Everyone do indeed relax. Unless you go and fail a class, you're fine.

barely holding on to my B in ap calc too. our "teacher" is retiring after this year so she isn't trying and doesn't care much. its pretty frustrating. final is an old ap test...how fun!

Don't worry, you don't have to be perfect and they understand certain classes are difficult. One grade isn't going to rule you out.
