Hold candidate and nominations

My son was placed as hold candidate to usmma 1/7/2022. As far as I know nominations in NJ have not been posted. His medical complete,and passed. What is hold candidate chances, of appointment?

Depends on too many factors to speculate a guess. He is a well-qualified candidate and the school is definitely interested in him, or he would not have been put on hold. He has done all he can do at this point, so enjoy your remaining time together. Good luck.
