THANK YOU KPENGINEER! YOUR WORDS OF WISDOM WORKED!.. This passed weekend we as a family moved on to Plan "B". Our DS signed the papework for VMI and the check went into the mail at 9:00am this morning (after I checked my DS's portal) Still "HOLD". I called my sister at 11:30am to tell her that our DS was going to VMI (her son is graduating this May) she was telling me what to expect and what hotels to book and when. I had tears in my eyes when my DS and his sister walked into my place of work. My daughter said she knows! He said what is wrong? I said I'm talking to Auntie about VMI told her you are moving forward with PLAN B. He said" NO PLAN "B" FOR ME ONLY PLAN "A". He Congressman had phoned him during PreCALC lol to congratulate him on becoming a "PRINCIPAL APPOINTEE". SHOCK! Logged on to his portal and the "HOLD" in now a "PRINCIPAL:shake: He has been asked to speak to the class of 2018 at Sundays Academy Day in Chicopee Ma. "DREAMS DO COME TRUE"!:yllol:
 
One more thing! The FEDX truck drives every day by our house! Never stops! Not this time we will be waiting at the door with big smiles on!

BFE comes in a few weeks. You'll be getting the much thinner FedEx 8.5" x11" envelope soon. Acceptance form for your DS to sign, fax and mail back by May 1.

That is a great story. Congratulations to your son on his accomplishment and your perseverance and support, etc that I'm sure helped him get through the process.

Please sit firmly into your seats and buckle the latch securely - now the real roller coaster ride begins! Seriously, though congratulations and enjoy the rest of the journey!
 
Congratulations to your whole family, and welcome to the KP family. Get connected with your state Chapter, make cookies for cookie cafe' and come back and visit this forum again while you are on this 4 year journey. Facebook is great, but there is NOTHING like talking to "our wise ones" here. They are filled with knowledge and support, which as a mom of a 1/c mid, I am still getting! Welcome aboard!
 
Thank you all for the well wishes. I"m still in shock and overwhelmed with joy for our DS.. He finally put on is USMMA sweatshirt we bought for him on our last visit. KP2013dramamama I plan on baking lots of cookies for Cookie Cafe' and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. We just want to enjoy this for a couple of minutes and then on to the next sea adventure! DS still in school and studying for finals. Password and TWIC research next!
