I hear the Senior Military Colleges are much more competitive for AROTC scholarships. Should I waste my time by listing them on my application, or do I have the right credentials?
My cumulative GPA is 3.85, and I'm in the top 20% of my class. I take the ACT April 13th and expect to do well on it. I've taken Honors classes and am enrolled in 2 AP classes next year.
I letter varsity on our Tennis team. I'm also a member of our school's Muay Thai club and participate in local trail runs. I was recently elected Secretary of our National Honor Society chapter. I also do a lot of community service for my church youth group, and have over 85 internship hours and my local fire department. I also plan on getting a summer job.
I'm considering listing VMI, North Georgia, Norwich, or VA Tech on my application. Which do I have the best shot at?
