Hopefully the last "Who's still CPR" thread

First beautiful spring day in my state--yet I cannot pull myself away from the forum with the new TWE's coming out. Honestly, I'm following so many "friends" and hoping for big additions to the Appointment thread. I agree with NavySealMom2020--this anxiety is unreal!
I'm nervous for everybody. Good luck!!

TWE here too!!! DS signed his appointment to USMMA last Thursday! He will be playing football. Today could have been devastating considering he is a college reapplicant. Instead, I have just ordered our USMMA Mariners football t-shirts. Good luck to all of you that are still CPR and those who plan to apply next year. Keep your options open. DS did not even have Kings Point on his radar until his Congressional interview when they ask him if he would consider it. He completed his application in December, visited Kings Point in March and has never looked back :)

jmmtta03 - My DS is still CPR at USNA but also received USMMA appt and will play football for them if he accepts. Like you DS, USMMA was not on his radar but after overnight football visit, he is 100% on board with that option. Waiting to make final decision based on what response he gets from USNA.

Our son is still waiting-CPR! from Kansas; also same for USAFA. Any idea for a definite end date for USNA to put us out of our misery!!!!??? Thank goodness for full AFROTC scholarship! Great to have those backup plans. Good luck to the best kids ever!!
Other folks have no idea what these kids go through in this app process. Thanks for this thread.

This Friday April 15

Still CPR from VA-05. Just wish they would at least send something at this point!

Still CPR in AZ04. Its agony! But glad to be hanging on. No news is better than bad news...at this point, I just want some news.

From Kansas-thanks for your reply; but son didn't have to wait 'til Friday, no more CPR. He heard today at 6:15pm; app stated 'Turned Down by USNA' and no offer for prep school either. Wow-seemed cold to get that and a letter on email from Office of Admissions, not even a real person. Thanks again for everyone's support here-really helped to know what's going on out there. Best wishes and so long!

My DD got wait listed today, but it's a moot point - she accepted her USMMA appointment last week and is a recruited swimmer there. She's had her offer at USMMA since late Jan and NROTC scholarship as well. She got tired of waiting on the word from USNA and she's very, very excited for her USMMA opportunity. Too bad she won't be at my alma mater, but I really couldn't be any more proud of her and the admissions cycle journey this past year. For the others in this thread who have DDs and DSs going to USMMA next year, hope to meet you soon.

I got the dreaded TWE at 15:30 today. It's been fun, but my roller coaster crashed.

Go Sea Eagles!!! Life is good!

We're in the same boat--or plane--or merchant marine vessel. Have no idea at this point. DS is still CPR in Virginia, on Hold with USMMA, and--God is good--has an AFROTC scholarship. My heart aches for each and every one of the TWE recipients, and hopes that all those still CPR receive a BFE (or Prep, or Foundation Scholarship).
