I haven't actually taken the CFA yet, but I follow the rules of the assessment when I practice. My scores could be much better, and I plan to retake it, but I would like to know where my scores stand.

My height is 5ft 5in
I weigh 156 lb

Basketball Throw: 58 ft
Shuttle Run: 11.09 sec
Pullups: 1
Situps: 63
Pushups: 32
Mile Run: 8 mins 50 sec

You have a lot of room to improve. I don't know if those scores are passing but they are definitely well below average. Keep training and you'll be able to bring them up! Watch your diet as well. If you're overweight, losing fat is probably the best way to improve your scores.

Greetings brittb30,

As a (quite under-strength) candidate I'm worried about the CFA as well. I will say with what I've gathered here with you as a female the sit up score is great, pushup is great, bb throw also passing for USNA, pull ups and mile time need much work though. The only thing I do well is run so I can say just push through and do be afraid to scream too. And if anyone knows of a good workout routine I'm sure both brittb and I would appreciate "getting gains".

Thanks in Advance,
Ayden / TX-25 USNA Candidate

TexMex is right. I didn't realize you were female so disregard my previous comment. As long as you practice the running and pull ups you'll probably be fine.

Thanks to both of you! I will continue to work hard and improve my scores. Goodluck to TexMex and hopefully you great CFA Scores and a USNA Appointment :)

You are welcome, and thank you! I recieved an LOA *I'm not exceptional just dedicated and come from an underrepresented district* so only thing left for me is CFA. I found this {https://www.usna.edu/PlebeSummer/_files/documents/2013/2017 Exercise Routine.pdf} on a google search, there is no hyperlink but it comes from the USNA webpage. It's for Plebe Summer readiness but may work for CFA prep given supplimental exercises. Aswell a very health minded teacher of mine made a diet for gains and sliming, I cleaned it up and added a shopping list {https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-IKvYfYiXBW_Uv9cpb5ZpTQUulHQIRshhhkkpFY-AWw/edit?usp=sharing} Good Luck!

Hope to see you all this Plebe Summer,

If you are deficient in this area, a good goal to try and get above is 125% above the MINIMUM score for every event. If you have an LOA and you can reach THIS, you should be fine. If you can get past that or even max some of the events, such as the run, it will definitely benefit you.

J4ke,

Well, that makes me feel better. I'm not quite potato level but I started bad and now am working out often. My estimated scores are ~55ft throw, ~10sec shuttle, 5 pull-ups, 45 Push-ups, 50 Situps, and (well-rested; I haven't tested after doing a workout) but 7:15 mile

Definitely keep it up, you'll be fine.
