How can I join USAFA...

Thank you for all the advises. I learned many from you guys. As you guys read my grammar, it is really horrible. I came here 2 years ago. I have to study hard!

One thing I would like to suggest is to read EVERYTHING that you can find about USAFA. This forum is a great resource, and asking questions is great, but there is so much you can read to answer your question about what you need to do to get in.

I can give a bit of insight into the physical fitness side of the application since that was my weakest portion and I thought that would keep me out. Definitely join both Track and XCountry during both your junior and senior year. Explain what you are doing to your coach and ask him what you need to do to earn a letter in both. My high school did not really do letters for sports, but I asked my coach what I needed to do and he made sure I got one. It is definitely not too late to get involved in school sports now and still get in. Just make sure you show dedication.

Do not be concerned that you are too late to start doing stuff and get accepted. Some have implied that junior year is too late to join clubs and sports and still have a chance at an appointment. I disagree. If you get heavily involved now and show leadership and dedication in the things you do for the next one and a half years, Admissions will respect that. Use this summer to make a plan on how to get accepted, stick to it, and you will have something to talk about in your interviews :)

Lastly, as it has been mentioned before, your grammar is a bit alarming. If you are not in the U.S., then you need to see about applying internationally. Whether you are international or not, a strong grasp of English language and grammar is important.

You can do it if you set your mind to it!
