Would a 30 super score on the ACT and a 4.3 GPA put me in the 75th percentile?

There are many MOC districts in Illinois. In any case, no one here can tell you with any accuracy where you stand in your district. Applicants change, their scores change. You’re better off looking at USMA’s latest class profile to see where you stand.

Some districts nationwide are more competitive than others. But here’s a simple rule of thumb: If there’s one candidate — just one — in your district with a better overall package than yours, then you should consider the district competitive. Simple as that.

Agree 100% with @MidCakePa !

Short answer: depends on your competition and if you are yourself 3Q (pass CFA, DoDMERB, and everything else).

It's completely natural to scour this site for competitiveness, minimums, and search on LOAs. The answer is always going to be it depends and no one knows.

The way I helped my DD approach it was: of course you are outstanding. But outstanding is.....ordinary. Are you extraordinary? Are you remarkable? Are you...undeniable? There are ideals - of course there is no such thing. But by asking "Am I competitive?" there is the slippery slope towards, Is this enough? Did I hit the minimums? Averages? and you become complacent to be just like every other super high achieving, high scoring, captain, state finalist, president of this or that. Ultimately, why should you be in the Wing/Brigade etc? Try thinking of it from that standpoint. It does not mean perfect, but you want the day you hit "send" to know that there was not one more thing you could have done better.

PS - the lowest female b-ball score back to 2012 was 32, that I could find.

PPS - and for those that are competitive, keep asking anyway, since the brags are awesome. I never get tired of them. Oh goody, another chance me post instead of something technical I know nothing about (like pilot training). They truly inspire those coming here each cycle! I credit SAF chance me posts to open our eyes to what is possible! Amazing candidates!
