How do we know that Cadet Command has received acceptance letter?

Our DD won a 4 yr AROTC scholarship first round. HORRAY GO ARMY!! DD scanned acceptance letter and emailed it to address at bottom of letter and requested notification of receipt. DD called Cadet Command today and was told to look at uploads page for acceptance notification. When we look at the file upload page we are not sure how to tell if it was received. There is the scanned letter from the CG on the file upload page and it says APPROVED. Does that mean her acceptance letter was received? Deadline is looming, we want to make sure ducks are in a row!
 
First of all, Congratulations on your DD's scholarship!

Regarding return acknowledgements, I would imagine that Cadet Command's email "inbox" is a bit backed up.

If you are the type who wears both suspenders AND a belt, you might mail the letter via US postage return receipt, or via FedEx with proof of delivery.

On the file uploads page:
There is one that says "Scholarship Offer and Acceptance or Declination: Scholarship Acceptance."
There is also the other page that needed a signature: "Letter of Intent & Acknowledgement." Then if you scroll down on the Selection Status page (the one that says Winner) of the portal, the school name, 4-Year Scholarship and Offer Accepted is shown, along with any needed waivers.
 
Well :) I do think she should strive to be the kind person that wears a belt and suspenders so thank you she will send a paper copy, return receipt requested....love it!! Good advise!! Thank you!!
 
Why would you mail something you can email and upload? That is just going to make more work for the processors at Cadet Command. Now they will process your email and then next week they'll have to open a letter, scan, and then find out the letter has already been added to your file. The ladies and gentlemen at scholarship processing are currently handling the flood of files for the second board, while they are fielding the acceptances from the first round. If you uploaded your acceptance, and you can see it then rest assured you've met your requirement.

Here's a better suggestion...contact the ROO at the school you accepted the offer to. Ask him/her if they can see your acceptance in CCIMM. If they know you plan to accept and for some reason Cadet Command manages to loose your acceptance I'll bet they will figure out how to fix it.

DS signed with University of Wyoming this morning (finally) for his 4-year! We are scanning and emailing to Cadet Command, cc'ing the PMS and ROO at UW. I'm one proud mama of a legacy at UW, along with the addition of ARMY!
 
My son just uploaded it on the portal and within 24 hours or so it was green and marked "accepted."
 
Email confirmation returned for acceptance letter!! I should have given them more credit for doing a great job! DD uploaded acceptance letter onto application this morning just to be safe and it was approved before 645 am. Should of trusted CC more. I think bc we are talking about so much money we don't want to mess anything up, anyway thank you for your help!!
 
DS uploaded docs this morning and they we marked approved within a couple hours. The selection status page was also updated to reflect his choice. He did not receive and email confirmation, however. I'd say he's good to go!

The only reason she recieved a reply to her email is bc she requested notification that email was received. The lady that works there is super nice! Our DD had several questions at the beginning of the process and she super helpful!
