Anybody who has gotten, or failed to get, a nomination be completely honest with me. How hard is it? It seems that a lot of people on this forum and on other platforms make it seem like a breeze, or is it only me? Please give me your honest feedback.

I think it completely depends on how competitive your stats are and how competitive your district is in which you are competing. Get your stats as high as you can, do your best, and make plans B, C, D, and E. Don't worry about what you cannot control. Lots of people on this site do have high stats, but they are probably not representative of more than 20% of each SA class, so there are others out there who may be more or less competitive. Again, things you can't control. Just do you, and do your best! Good luck!

Definitely depends on how competitive your district is as well as how many you are competing with and which academy. Obviously those areas closest to an academy will have far more competing. USMMA is probably the one with fewer applying for a nom in a district.

I live in Colorado so everyone is applying to USAFA. I think that's a good advantage because I want to attend USNA.

I am from the California central valley, and most kids here apply to USAFA and USNA (10>) so it is fairly competitive for those schools. West Point usually doesn't have more than 10 applying in my district, and Kingspoint always has the least.
