How long to clear a medical records request

We just found out DS has a request for copies of medical records for a procedure from years ago when he was a little kid? How long does it take to process once medical records are submitted.

It is a very busy time at DODMERB. We supplied the records ASAP and then joined the club of waiting. We had to submit the same information three times and several weeks apart. Dr appointment to write a letter for some questions they had in the medical record. We found there really wasn't a rhyme or reason to how long things took. It just happened when it happened. It is a test of patience!
