DD received a conditional appointment

Yes, We are Washington State and DD received a conditional appointment to the
CGAS Program today. No call. She checked online and the letter was there. Good luck!

What are your DD’s academic stats? I know for NAPS a candidate must be deemed academically disqualified in order to attend. Is this the same for CGAS?

I believe she is qualified like many (4.0 GPA, 1320 SAT, BBall Captain, Club Pres, job, attended AIM qualified CFA there, etc.) That said, although she is a WA resident, she lives outside the US & attends an international school. She was told many international students are sent to preps to make sure they can adjust culturally, etc. She is very excited! Best of luck to your DS/DD!

I’m from Texas and missed a call from my AO at around 11. Then I checked my portal around 1:30 and saw that I got accepted!

I just recieved news that I didn’t get accepted. Very shocked. I believe I had the GPA, SATs, 246 on my PFE, a stacked resume, and a letter of recommendation for recruitment to a program. This has been my top choice for a 5 years now and worked extremely hard. Although I’m disappointed I will try again for the regular admissions pool. Have a great day everyone.

Will emails be send out automatically or calls from AOs through the day?

I was informed that calls would be sent out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to all those who recieved an appointment. I am anxiously waiting for my response!

With the shut down, CGA staff are not currently being paid, are they? And then to work on the weekend to call appointees, to boot? My sympathies and respect to them!

No Early Action decisions will be released or phone calls made this weekend...maybe Monday, but definitely by Tuesday.

My DS got rejection last year where EA did not roll over to regular. He has resubmitted and we wait again. In meantime he is 1/2 way through fish year at A&M Galveston/Texas Maritime. Chin up!

Hey everyone! I was deferred as well. I am going to decline moving on to regular admissions due to my appointment to USAFA. I attended AIM and I had good PFE scores.

Congratulations to all that received appointments today. You all have bright and wonderful futures ahead.

DS is planning to do the same. He'll be joining you in Colorado in June
