Approximately 2500 candidates are considered fully qualified. Does any have the answer on how many of those are reapplicants? I've read that there are usually 100 accepted.

Not sure where you got your numbers but they're not accurate. My class has a 25% composition of Mids with post-HS education. A little less than 100 total not from NAPS. I can't tell you the exact acceptance numbers for college reapplicants but it's definitely not 100%.

I have heard that MoCs do like to see reapplicants because it shows dedication but I wouldn't count on a guaranteed acceptance.

OP said 100, not 100%.

No one here knows and I'm not sure how this information will actually help you.

^^ I agree. How does knowing this information (even if it were available) somehow help you to decide if you do or do not want to apply?

Also some re-applicants have no college (they enlisted instead). I know of at least one who went that route and is now a very happy member of the class of 2020.

My DS applied three times before selected. Third time was the charm and I am happy to say he is a member of the 2020 class. Since he didn't get in right after high school, he went active duty in Nukes. He is/was in prototype after finishing first two portions of Nukes program. He was told to just keep applying until he aged out, especiLly since he was in Nukes.

My Family attended a Breakfast on Saturday held by our Congressman for his Class of 2020 Nominees he had selected .

Among the Appointees and the few Nominees that attended, there was a West Point Class of 2020 Appointee who made it after his 4th Try !!!

Congressman asked this Kid if he would say a few words of inspiration to the Nominees who still decided to attend the gathering, but did not get an Appointment.

This new USMA Appointee stated that going to WP was a dream of his since grade school. He said he just knew he could do it if he worked hard enough and didn't quit. He did say after the third time he was denied, he reflected heavily before doing his fourth Application. Everyone wanted to just go up afterward and shake his hand. His parents were bursting at the recognition that morning.

He was awe inspiring and will be a huge leadership asset to the entire USMA Class of 2020.

Sorry to go off topic here but how does reapplying work? New teacher recs, CFA, etc.? Or is it like West Point's where you only have to submit in college professor's rec/soe?
