How many times are too many times to take SATs?

Thanks all for the sound advice! I have taken an online course for the SAT, which I obviously need to do more often and I will probably buy some books as well.

Oh, also, congrats to you navy2016 for being so early and prepared as a junior! That's really something to be proud of.

I will retake it again and hope to get a 32 or 33 composite score. I sit on a 3.8 GPA and not the smartest person around. Standardized testing is more based on how much you study on your own time and how much you learn from your past mistakes.

some more quick tips for ACT:
English section- relearn/refresh grammar (start off with the most basic). Even when you are texting or instant messaging your friends, try this:
you can use shortened forms of words, but try to keep your messages grammatically correct.

Math- do not freak out over trig, its just the 6 fundamental identities and Soh-Cah-Toa.
Science- this is a test of interpretation of information not your impossible biology exam

Most importantly, do not be like me and stress over one section. I was hoping to get a perfect on math and was unsure about 4 questions (I thought I was doomed). I believe this contributed to my failure in reading. However, I was able to mentally rebound and get myself composed for the science section.
