How Often?

So, do people find out every two weeks from the academy if they have received a LOA or appointment? Or is it every week? How often do the boards meet?

How often the boards meet is something honestly only known by the folks of USAFA/RRS. That's the selections branch.

Anyone here telling you they meet "on Tuesday every week at 9:00AM..." well, unless they're on the board...is speculating.

Heck, I'm an ALO; been one for 20 years and I can't tell you when or how often they meet. It changes all the time to meet the needs of USAFA.

So...worry not; they meet often enough to pick the candidates that they want/need.

Again, that's something only RRS knows. I can speculate but that's all. Right now?

Probably (again note the lack of firm knowledge) only REALLY SUPER AMAZING kids and highly recruited "blue chip" athletes.

Not as many as other SA's...he said with absolutely no firm knowledge!
